it's game day for the west and east regionals...this NE regional is the best, as far as I'm concerned. East might be close, but I think the prospects of UND/BC makes it better. One more day to go for the NE to show they're the best regional.

I like to think of UND as being conveniently located near the borders of Minnesota and Canada. ;)

I like to think that ND itself is at the geographic center of North America

The story that I'm aware of is that in 1863, the Mass Legislature allowed the charter of BC (after rejecting the charter in 1859 out of anti-Catholic bias). In 1869, they gave the name BU to a relocating "Newbury Biblical Institute" out of Vermont as they were hoping the Catholic school would fail without the 'University' title. I am glad BC didn't bend to the anti-Catholic ways of the legislature and has kept its name all these years. Now if only your little Bible Study Programme would move again, we'd all be better off.

I'm very anxious for this weekend, it should be great hockey games to watch. I predict (of course my home team) UND beats Yale, 4 to 2, and then goes on to beat BC, but I'm hoping Alaska beats them (wishful thinking). If we beat Yale and go on to play (presumably) BC, I think it's our turn to win, score 3 to 2. It would be sad to lose especially with UND playing so well right now. So that's what I'm hoping for anyway, we'll see. Should be fun! Good Luck to everyone!

I read an earlier post where a BC fan predicted the Eagles would win, saying it would be sad if they didn't.

So like, <i>NOW</i> what?
