So when did UMD become such a whiny bunch? They got just about every freaking call they could ask for in that game and then some. Yet every time something got called, they were in the ref's ears with something to bitoch about.

For the record, the UMD player may have flopped on the tripping call late in OT, but that was no question going to get called 100% of the time. So I'm not sure what tDon was complaining about(other than maybe a dive), but I didn't think he had any right to complain there whether it was a dive or not. Doesn't change the fact the tDogs were whining all damm game....

There was no may about that, he didn't flop he swan dived.

tDon was probably upset because every time Rau embelishes (even when the penalties on the opposing players should be called regardless of the embelishment like you said), it gets evened up with an embelishment call. You only have to go back one series to find a good example, so it was probably fresh in Don's mind.

I think the embelishment rule needs to be looked at. So much hand wringing about when it should or shouldn't be called, whether to call it and the penalty, etc.... Too much inconsistency with it.

One call that went our way was Ambroz not getting another two for unsportsmanlike in OT. I've seen it called for less.

You sound like a whiny baby. You make our fan base look bad. UMD came into our territory and man handled the gophers. I am thankful for the tie! The shootout win means nothing to me.
