North Dakota @ Minnesota 11/4/16

Re: North Dakota @ Minnesota 11/4/16

GOAL GOPHERS: Brent Gates Jr. brings a little Michigan to the rivalry. 4-4 with 5:15 to go in regulation.

Re: North Dakota @ Minnesota 11/4/16

Gophers pull the goalie, Hawks get lazy in their own zone and Novak rips it home. 5 - 5 with 1:17 to go.

Re: North Dakota @ Minnesota 11/4/16

Cam Johnson with a pretty rough game, but North Dakota's blueliners have been absolutely awful. Way too many sloppy passes and clearing attempts. Against a better team they might have 10 on the board.

Re: North Dakota @ Minnesota 11/4/16

END 3: Gophers 5 - North Dakota 5 Minnesota has come back from 4 times tonight to send the game to OT.

Re: North Dakota @ Minnesota 11/4/16

Johnson covers one up and we'll have a faceoff in the UND zone. 2:34 to play.

Re: North Dakota @ Minnesota 11/4/16

Gophers will end the game with a PP.

ND going to the box with 1:44 left. Very selfish elbowing call coming.

Re: North Dakota @ Minnesota 11/4/16

FINAL: Gophers 5 - North Dakota 5 (OT) The rivalry's newest chapter at Mariucci begins w/ a tie. Gophers come back from 4 deficits.

Re: North Dakota @ Minnesota 11/4/16

Disappointing result for North Dakota. Against a better team, that's a big loss. Need to clean up the sloppy passes and it would be nice if Cam could make a big save every once in a while. Oh well...very young team on the road against an experienced former rival who clearly wanted it more...could have been worse.
