North Dakota @ Minnesota 1/16/10

Re: North Dakota @ Minnesota 1/16/10

So if Hextall was playing, the Gophers would have even more penalties? That just proves that the Gophers have no discipline.

Nice win Gophers.
Kangas played well, and his lucky charm breakfast helped as well.

Frank trying to make something that isn't.... 3rd period was pretty clean.. don't think the handshake will be a problem.

Congrats Gophs, Kangas played very well and the Sioux were just snakebit tonight from the beginning. Its the way it goes sometime.

We saw plenty of this from MN's opponents in the first half. It's nice to see it going the other way for once. :p

Thankfully I think we've reached our "pucks going in off skates" quota for the season.

Re: North Dakota @ Minnesota 1/16/10

The 2nd period was the difference in the game. UND could have easily gotten 2-3 goals. Well done by Kangas.

Time will tell if this win catapults UM up in the standings.

Agreed.

And congrats to at least a tough game last night. Obviously, I'm happy about tonight's results, but I have a feeling we'll see each other again this season. Hope it's a good one.

Fun playing against great lucky goaltending, isn't it? Trust me, I know how it feels.

Nah, it seems the Sioux run into that all the time.
Great chances, nothing to show for it.
Of course, it doesn't help that our best offensive dman and our best dirty goal scorer are both out. Neato.

Frank's rug fell over his eyes, so he missed the entire clean 3rd period.

We lost Barriball for the year, and now Matson. I'd feel for you, but, well, no.
