After so many years of underacheiving, our fan base has come to expect failure. Think of it as Vikings fans x10.

My prediction has NOTHING to do with this. It's the fact that two really good teams are playing and both of them will be highly motivated for wins (points). I just don't think anyone comes out of this series empty handed.

FAir enough. I figured it wasn't you, but much of our fanbase is that way. I'm with you on this one. I think there is a 10% chance there is a sweep, 20% chance someone gets 3 points, and a 70% chance it's a split.

That outcome hurt. ND capitalized on those two middle goals. You can not win against good teams when you have two horrible give aways that lead to goals. I hope Duluth can sweep and/or St Cloud wins. It's exciting alright.

It's nice when it's UND who steals a game every once in awhile instead of other way around.

I have to agree with the st cloud fan here... Mankato has a long way to go to achieve the level of underachieving that jan has. BTW, I have not forgotten to eat crow, congrats jan fans on winning the MacNaughton. One of the toughest things to do in college hockey.

Mankato is playing very good hockey. This miscue behind the net cost them. But that is a good hockey team.

Gothberg played well, and the Mavs played pretty game outside of two terrible, and more importantly, inexcusable, turnovers. Thankfully the teams in the race for home ice helped out by losing. Need a better and more complete game tonight.

Gramaldi is fun player to watch. I watched the world juniors but to see him in person is even more so. It was a good game save the bad give aways. The ND fans that I sat by and saw pre game and during intermission were all nice folks. I hope tonight is as fun to watch with a different outcome.
