Sioux need to sweep for a shot at a piece of the cup. I think they will split too.

Both teams could use a sweep big time. I just don't see it happening for either squad.

If Bucky sweeps and MN splits, UND only needs a split to be in a four way tie (all with teams leaving the WCHA). Not that I'd count on a Bucky sweep.

Well, that's either "Olay" as in hand cream, or it's Lena's wife, in which case you guys have been insulting us good norskies for some time now.

Softies that the Mavs are, I'll go with hand cream.

Having to go into Mankato and get 4 points is not a good position to be in. The Mavs always seem to be able to beat anybody at any time. They also seem to be able to score goals in bunches to get back in games, though I'm not sure about this year. One things for sure: both teams should be pumped.

It's going to be a great weekend--so many teams with a stake. A fitting finish for this great old conference.

This series has split written all over it, so that probably means one of the teams sweep. No idea who.

We should see some really good hockey this weekend. Mavs can't afford a night like Friday at CC. North Dakota can't afford an effort like Saturday vs. BSU.

This really isn't true. UND played a pretty darn good game on Saturday, they just couldn't buy a goal. Partially due to not being able to hit the broad side of a barn, but the effort was there.

UND sweeps their way to the MacNaughton.
