Is Pietila any relation to the Tech freshman Aaron Pietila?

Also, did the Ryerson coach receive any boos for being a former Tech player?

Actually, I think they cheered him. My sources tell me he was wearing his Tech jersey under his suit coat for a while.
And someone already answered the Pietila question, though it took the announcer a couple tries to get it right.

I don'tnthink too many in the barn acttually knew that he was an ex Husky. Some may have remembered him as the York coach from a couple years back. He didn't wear his Tech jersey tonight. Just last nite in the 1st period at Tech.

Oh, sorry--I should have been more specific. I was talking about last night up there. I don't think many today knew that trivia fact.

Northern wasn't even fielding an NCAA hockey team when Wise played for the Huskies, so it's not like he was a part of our program during the rivalry and some of the older NMU fans might recall his name.

The Pietila's are cousins and both former Marquette Rangers.
