Now I've found this interesting hearing about it through several Tech people over Facebook... I figured that when you started with the free tickets it would give y'all a boost for student attendance... Seems to have done the opposite... I think NMU Students getting free tickets has been a successful venture in gaining student interest...

It's terrible. Whole section was empty at Carnival at the start of the game. Blows my mind.

There are enough students attending, they're just avoiding Mitch's Misfits for some reason. Sounds like there are some major personality issues in Sec L and it isn't much "fun" right now, which will kill it every time.

No there aren't. They've given them most of the "student" side for experience tickets and at the start of each game at Carnival the section next to the band was barren. Absolutely no one in it. Didn't fill up much either. The community side was packed. Now I do also think the band's location there instead of on the end where they used to be plays a part there as that section is not quiet.

And yes, the misfit's are a shade of their former glory. No denying that.

Is that because the kids nowadays grew up with Xbox, meaning they would rather be in a game than watching a game?

Why do the run a shuttle? It's only the equivalent of a few blocks from the dorms.

Question for those who have bought America One games. If I purchase tonights game, can I load it on a tablet/mobile device so I can stream it to my TV via AppleTV? Is it extra for the mobile feed? How is the quality that way?

I don't believe it will stream to a tablet without the mobile feed. And yes it is extra. Not sure about quality as I've not used it :) We just use an HDMI cable to put it on the TV via laptop, but using the AppleTV would be nice...

I don't want the laptop to be tied up during the game plus I don't think it could handle the video.

Just ordered the game, then logged into my America One account on an old old iPhone (acting as an iPod). Started the video feed and then sent it to "Airplay" to my AppleTV. :D

It's working okay so far. A few hiccups with buffering, but I think that's because of my internet connection.

*edit* The feed pauses to buffer/load for a few seconds every :30 or so. It's a great idea, but it's not watchable this way. On the up-side, the feed being pumped through to the AppleTV IS in HD quality! Pretty sure it's something with the AmericaOne feed, as my NHL, MLB, and Netflix don't do this.
