Northern Michigan welcomes Bowling Green to the Berry Events Center this upcoming weekend. After being swept by Michigan Tech, Northern finds itself needing to win to get back in the playoffs.

Oh wait, BGSU isn't offering to make a Timmy's Run for us? Dammit.


The WCHA and each member school need to get a Timmy's kiosk in every arena.

Tim Hortons? Meh. There are much better places in Bowling Green. The best places aren't names recognized by out of towners.

There's a little spot in downtown BG, the Corner Grill that puts out a good breakfast. But they don't have TimBits, which are easily accessible from the hotel where most teams stay. BG does have many great spots downtown for dining and socializing. It's one of the most underrated towns in college hockey. I always enjoy the trip very much.

We won, putting us back in the playoffs and only a few points out of home ice.

Now for a repeat performance tomorrow.

BGSU goal!!!!! BGSU 2 NMU 0. Keep it rolling Falcons! 2 shots on goal yesterday in the first period. So far tonight 17.
