NMU @ BSU Turkey Weekend

Re: NMU @ BSU Turkey Weekend

Any bars, hotels, etc in Bemidji running busses to/from the games yet? Will they be later this year?

Off the top of my head: Ground Round, Toasty Beavers and Brigid's Cross. There may be more, but those three are for sure, plus BSU runs busses for the students. It'd be nice if someone came up with a complete list somewhere...

Also, the Hampton is running a bus for it's guests. Of course, by the time you deal with the trafffic on the Hampton/Green Mill road, you could walk back to the Hampton quicker than the bus.

I believe the one for the Toasty Beavers/Brigid's Cross is for all the downtown establishments. When we were at Keg earlier this year, we were asked if we were taking the bus.

It can't be but what 400-800 yards from the Hampton INN to the Arena, unless one has had a few too many in the Green Mill. It would probably be a miserable walk when it's 40 below zero though.

BSU and BREC announce ticket specials for men’s hockey Nov. 26-27

BSU and BREC announce ticket specials for men’s hockey Nov. 26-27

BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University, BSU men’s hockey and the Bemidji Regional Event Center have announced several ticket specials for this weekend’s nonconference series with Northern Michigan University.

In an effort to help restock the Bemidji Community Food Shelf this holiday season, BSU and the BREC will discount single-game tickets for Friday or Saturday $5 to all Beaver hockey fans that donate a non-perishable food item at the BREC box office a the time of ticket purchase.

The Bemidji Community Food Shelf provides emergency food to Beltrami County families and/or individuals who have short term, emergency food needs.

In addition, high school or college students that present a valid school/university ID at the box office at the time of purchase will be eligible to purchase a $5 ticket to sit in the Bemidji State student section either evening.

Finally, Saturday, Nov. 27 is Bemidji Youth Hockey Night at the BREC. Area youth hockey players wearing their team jerseys can purchase single-game tickets for just $12. The youth are also invited to bring their skates to “Skate with the Beavers” immediately following the game.

For questions call the BREC Box office at (218) 441-4032.

Re: NMU @ BSU Turkey Weekend

We're looking somewhat better than our record shows. Taking UMD to overtime, playing well even though we were swept by DU.
We lost some good PK talent to graduation, but we have a few new recruits (Rendle, Jubinville) that I'm excited about. How's everything on your end?

How is BSU looking this year?

A solid 4-0 effort by the Cats tonite. Just keep riding Reid while he's hot.

Re: NMU @ BSU Turkey Weekend

Man, Walt sure had his boys ready to play tonight. Some nice RPI points coming from beating a WCHA team.
