NMU at Western Michigan, November 9 and 10

NMU audio is crystal clear and well done. It is rare that I find college sportz radio broadcasters as good as ours. Granted, UAF is pretty **** good. I was really impressed with their broadcasters last weekend.

Who is your team? Glad to hear our Audio is clear. Skyping instead of phone lines seems to be a big plus, if there is a good Internet connection.

After catching the score in the waning seconds of the first, imagine my surprise seeing the final. Good to see some offense on the road as of late. Hopefully the Cats can cut down on shots against.

The shot count was nowhere near accurate and never is at Lawson.

Dave... I have been posting on here for awhile and interacted with you a few times. I am suprised you have to ask. My team is NMU. I am a Wildcat who lived in the Whitehouse on 3rd with Lee, Connelly, Owens and others. I bet you could guess my name. Another clue... Tarkki and I were once attacked by a guy with a golf club at Citgo after a late night at Upfront.

I thought that your were NMU. Thanks for the kind words. It's really a lot of fun to be a part of it and to have the great fans that NMU has.

For sure. Thanks for the great announcing and giving a ****. You can tell its genuine. Also, you need to recruit an alumni for color commentary like you used to do. I can make a few recommendations if needed.

Very solid game last night... Glad to see the resilience of this team to come back from 3-1 down... Let's see them use this go get some momentum rolling forward...

Re: NMU at Western Michigan, November 9 and 10

It looks like Western's web stream is down. Between last night and tonight, I will be requesting a refund from them.

A good come from behind tie and a solid weekend overall. Vigier has been rolling and the teams resiliency is impressive.

Now a week off followed by two important league home series. Keep up the momentum!

Re: NMU at Western Michigan, November 9 and 10

Was able to get to tonight's game in person. A little sloppy with puck control (okay, a LOT), but Western was having just as much trouble. Lots of ruts and cuts on the ice even after a fresh Zamboni-ing.

Biggest thing I think that must be worked on is the guys need to quit thinking and take the shot. Saw a lot of double clutching and second guessing, and by then the shooting lane closed on them.

The Power Play looked real good late in the third. There was a lot of movement, lot of control, and not a lot of guessing. Vigier scored because he let it rip once he got the pass.

Glad CJ was okay. What a scary hit.

Oh, and Veni, Vidi, Vigier!!! (He came, He saw, He scored).

Sorry, but I was unable to listen to the game. What happened to CJ? Did he return?

He ended up taking a puck to the chin area...

He left under own power. He did not return. He was in pretty good shape later. Very scary. A Western player took a hard shot in the face mask later as well. Anyone who wants to argue against masks or shields is nuts.
