NMU at Alaska: Like Ishpeming, Just 40*F Colder....

Re: NMU at Alaska: Like Ishpeming, Just 40*F Colder....

Nanooks win 2-1, and snap a 16 game unbeaten streak against NMU. The game was not as close as the score indicates. NMU's goalie made some fantastic saves, especially in the 3rd, to keep it a one goal game.

Big win for UAF. The monkey on our backs against Northern was getting heavy.

It was a good game and your goalie made some good saves too. I wish that early goal hadnt gotten in. I feel that it set the tone for the rest of the game.

Great... I thought we were done with stupid penalties. Now we have 2 in one period back to back and they go up 4-1. Well done. Im ****ed.

Watched the Higby elbow about 5 times, I don't know how that's a major, it's defineitly an elbow, but only a minor and the player who went down was back out two shifts later.

I feel like NMU came out strong tonight but lost it in the 2nd. Had they been able to maintain their composure, they may have been able to close the gap. Alaska is on a tear right now. I expect them to keep climbing.
