If the guy was really trying to troll the internet, I'd still hate to be his kid. Your kids are not pawns in your comedy when the entire nation/world is your audience. There's a difference between a private gag with your children and a public one that could risk your children having to defend their father when they head back to class for the week.

Joke appreciated but I thought a big problem with the weakening of herd immunity is that even vaccinated people have some risk so when these morons get themselves sick they can still harm us.

If not then I fully agree with you, give them the blankets and help Mother Nature out.

Because it's not just the anit-vaxxers who are at risk - it's mostly the fools' innocent children upon whom they're subjecting this risk of dire illness.

Libertarian ideology is stupid, but this may not be the best example.

They aren't uniform in how they think about these kinds of laws. Sure, the real loons who think all laws are TEH TYRANNY!!!111! will be against them, but most strands of libertarianism recognize gradations of the my fist / your nose principle.

IINM, Reason and RationalWiki regularly destroy the anti-vaxxers and they are run by a prominent libertarian and silly person.
