Yesterday United killed a dog.

Today they sent one to Japan instead of Kansas.

Sen. John Kennedy (LA) also sent United a letter asking for explanation of their treatment of dogs, as 18 of the 24 dogs killed by airlines last year were on United, as well as 13 of 15 injured dogs.

It's exactly what they did to William Penn's hung jury in order to kill him for not teaching the correct religion.

As for Haspel, hopefully those activities come out in the confirmation hearings. I hear Rand Paul's already a no.

Next time the corporate travel site we have to use tries to push me to United, and I have to provide an excuse for flying Delta instead, I am just going to say that I'm against killing family pets.

At least until you go to Phoenix and the airline Delivers Everyone's Luggage To Atlanta. :p:D

I don't know if I'd say **** the dog. But yes, diverting a plane for one seems ridiculous. Keep the dog safe and happy, and find a way to get it back to its owners as quickly as possible while screwing over the least amount of people. Of course, maybe this actually was the way to do that, depending on the scheduling of other flights.

I don't think it was that bad of a decision, since you'd have to put it on two flights to get it to CAK, and they were over CMH when it was noticed...

As long as crew was good on time, otherwise I don't think they would have diverted.
