I believe they do, but if they are not on the first rotation (or whatever the term is) they don't come close to max hours. So this is a boon to them, of sorts.

They can only fly 100 hours in 672 consecutive hours (28 days). It's pretty rare, but it does happen...

I think that goes under the previous "volun-told" post I saw earlier. You don't HAVE to, BUT.....let's just say it'll help you in the future.

No, no penalty.

I'd imagine a lot of the pick ups were people simply picking up the trips they were originally awarded. They just now get time and a half.
