Changed the channel over to the Wings game, just in time to watch the MULEEEE knock home a rebound.

Who here would have predicted Brunner leading the wings in points in the 4th game?

GLM tweeted it. Ya know, #notedjerkOTpicks.

I sometimes wished Wendel Clark was more than a brief rental Wing late in his career. His game was kinda like Gordie's, perhaps a bit less classy.

Two big saves by Howard on Selanne halfway through the first. :)

My old man has always been a big Leafs fan, and would have the Leafs on the TV on Saturday nights growing up. Always liked watching Clark play. Hopefully I'll get to see him again at the alumni game in Detroit.

Jimmy Howard has kept Anaheim from being up about 4-1. Some absolutely beautiful saves.

Big 5x3 kill there by Detroit.

How can anyone hate James? He's been a rock this series.

On top of being an Upstate NY boy. I've met his Dad (my Dad works with Jimmy Sr.- both are corrections officers), great guy. Refs a lot of HS hockey in NNY (or atleast did, last I knew).

You jinxed it, *******.

16 saves on 17 shots by Howard. This is what happens when you allow too much and lose the faceoff.

And, according to Let's Go Wings and Hockey's Future's message boards, Jimmy is nothing but a mediocre sieve not worth league minimum.

I wonder where these Wings teams the last few years would have been without Howard.

*edit* Dammit. Ducks score.

We cover him plenty at the paper. Sorry about jinxing. All I remember a couple of years ago seeing people on certain Wings boards wanting Howard run out of town on a rail.

April Reimer just tweeted that apparently someone around next to them made a rude comment and they were rolling their eyes at him...

Much less interesting story...

She is, but it's not like I would kick Elisha outta bed for eating crackers....

Given the chance, I'd make sure her eyes rolled. :D

/obvious bad joke

Well, yes. But I'm also not sure I would want Sean Avery's (insert "t" word here) thirds.

Kidding, obviously.

Of course ;)

There was a bit of an eyebrow raise by her too, so I suppose this is plausible.

Well that certainly isn't nearly as much fun as it could have been. I was hoping to see a catfight once the Leafs lose the series.

It's the media. They're STILL trying to make big news about the Kluwe cut. Just sayin'.
