Re: NHL Playoffs 2013 - Walruses, Trolls and other assorted creatures.

Listening to the Minnesota Wild broadcasters ... so much whining about the refereeing.

Its like listening to a Gopher broadcast.

You mean except the Wild on a continual PP in the last few minutes?
I mean Keith blatantly tripping Suter with the ref looking right at it. But like SoH says, it doesn't matter, the Wild PP is horse****.

LaPanta WAS with the Gophers.....

But, yes the Wild announcers are horrid.

Both LaPanta and Greenlay suck. I have managed to tune them out.

On one hand: as others have pointed out, that's par for the course with those guys.

On the other hand: Even Anne ****ing Frank can see some of the calls the refs have missed. Even with the Wild having more PP time, Chicago's lucky to have been even strength a much as they have.

Geico doing a commercial with Lord Stanley who looks like a tall leprechaun. I'd say, poorly done.

If he's talking horses, I listen.

Actually, no I don't. I don't care about horses.
Didn't he have a run in the PST this year for saying that "a thoroughbred loses hundreds of pounds during the course of a single race"? :p

That, I don't know. When I used to go to Canterbury, I'd listen to him when they showed the horses pre-race, and he seemed to be quite knowledgable.

I hate the very sound of Pierre McGuire's stupid voice. Just shut up.

Dumb question: where's the Panger nowadays?

To try and claim that the Hawks are interfering more than the Wild after watching this cluster **** through the neutral zone is a complete joke.

I get that you hate the Hawks, but try to see/watch past that. If anything, both teams are interfering at will. Watch the Wild players stepping in front of the forecheckers who are coming with speed and then tell me that only the Hawks are doing something illegal.

The refs are letting a lot go both ways. Fine by me although it definitely hurts the Hawks more than the Wild.

I'll give you the missed trip on Suter, but the ref was probably just trying to spare the audience having to watch the Wild's power play again.

And yes, the three stooges announcing tonight are in rare form, even for them.
