Toronto - Boston was very entertaining tonight.
Would love to see this one go 7 games.

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013 - Walruses, Trolls and other assorted creatures.

Pretty goal by the Ducks to make it 4-0. Very nice.

Detroit just hasn't been able to get much going since the 1st.

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013 - Walruses, Trolls and other assorted creatures.

Wings had their chances early, then they got ass****ed on that major call. Then the roof caved in during the 3rd.

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013 - Walruses, Trolls and other assorted creatures.

Nope, I think he and Punch would have had several double scotches ande laughed all the way to the bank.

Ballard and King Clancy would have had the scotch. Punch would have cracked a Molson. :D

Great effort top to bottom. Kessel finally gets an even strength goal in Beantown, but I was more impressed with his defensive effort. Carlyle's line changing had the B's befuddled. Now he gets the last change for the next two.

Yeah you're right, King would have been there, too. But after the first scotch he would have left to round up that night's broads. :p

See what happens when Matt Frattin is in the lineup...:D

The Abby major was killed off pretty well, other than the quick Anaheim goal at the start. Wings needed to score during the early 5x3's and sh*t the bed instead.

Wheels fell off in the 3rd when Brunner turned over the puck right in front of Jimmy. Then the Wings started taking stupid penalties. Well, except for the Howard roughing call. He was just trying to get rid of Perry, since no one else would.

First loss I've witnessed at the Joe. :(

Frattin and Hamilton had solid games, Gardiner was a little shaky in his own end but added to the offense.

It looked like the elbow didn't make contact, but then again, I didn't think Gryba's hit on Eller deserved a Shanaban.

The San Jose Sharks would like to encourage you to take public transportation. The San Jose Sharks would also like to remind you the last train of the night leaves at 9pm and the game is at 7pm.

Somewhat. But I have learned that the first team to 16 wins has the best chance of winning.

If Pittsburgh loses Game #3, does Disco Dan repot his flowers?

EDIT: Overtime challenge

Eh, it's interesting to look at from time to time.

Eh, it's interesting to look at from time to time.

Take a teams standing, and how their last game was and I could probably put together the "most likely to win". Honestly though the reason I like ice hockey when compared to other sports is that you really don't have a "most likely to win" when it comes down to it. I wonder what LA's chance to win it all last year was when entering the playoffs? Probably < 2%? Thats called a bad mathematical model..

done making fun of the model..

The bruins game last night was a bit disappointing. Story of the season is crappy scoring which I attribute to teams knowing their system by now and the bruins not really adjusting. The compete level doesn't seem the same as 2011, or even 2010 when they beat a higher ranked buffalo. Maybe losing ferance messed up the pairing which is why they gave up a 4 spot to Toronto. I think this thing goes to 7.
