I should amend my earlier statement about the Wild. We also need Granlund. Or the Granlund we thought we'd have eight months ago, rather.

Give it time. The dream wasn't supposed to happen this year. Just too green when it comes to postseason play. I think they have played very well, Chicago is a juggernaut.

Chicago would be up two games on any other team in the league right now. the 8th spot in the west this year, unlike last, was a death wish.

Just checked in the hotel for tonights Wings game. You know what's disgusting? Two Wings home tickets, one night hotel, and a tank of gas is cheaper than two Blackhawks home tickets.

Abdelkader just laid out Lydman. Once it happened, I thought he may have jumped a bit, but I'll have to get a second look at it. Lydman very slow to get up.

Edit: He definitely jumped a bit, but it didn't look like head was principle point of contact. Abdelkader gets 5 + GM on the call for charging.

That should have been 2 for charging. The major was assessed due to Anaheim's reaction to everything.

No doubt charging was absolutely the correct call. Eh, after those extra few views at the intermission report, he's definitely getting the Shanaban. Probably 2-3 games.

It's not going to happen, but I'd enjoy seeing the Maple Leafs upset the Bruins in their series.
