Without pointing any fingers....let's not do the teeth this time....and next time, we go full chomping props. Make it look like actual teeth. Whad'ya say?

You are unfamiliar, is what you're saying? ;)

I'm fully familiar, but my statement stands.

The hands? Fine. More than fine. Those half-arsed cardboard teeth I saw tonight? Horrible. Just horrible. Good God, they were bad.

Yeah, how dare a non-hockey market have something fun and original to do to cheer on their team that they've only been doing since the inception of the team.

It's the props. That is what bothers me.:)

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013 - Walruses, Trolls and other assorted creatures.

Probably a lot of whining going on today in vancouver and montreal...love it.

Oh please. Playing position in the neutral zone is hardly illegal. I'll concede that there's a little too much body play against the boards sometimes, but that's like complaining about speeding, especially in the playoffs. Let me know when tey start clutching and grabbing.

Meanwhile, the Blackhawks are just stopping short of tackling and had yet to be penalized once when I made my initial comment.

Plus, like I said, its nothing compared to what the Penguins got away with.

Stepping into the path of a player who is trying to go to where the puck is interference. Does it get called consistently? Heck no.

Has it happened in these first four games with regularity? Yep.

Does the fact that it doesn't get called hurt a team with speed like the Hawks? Heck yeah.

Does it help a team like the Wild stay in games when they're in over their heads? Of course.

Have the Hawks been just as guilty of it as any other team? Heck yeah!

Um, the Wild would actually need to be coming through the neutral zone with speed...

Seriously, you guys are simply getting beat by a better team. To imply that it has anything to do with the Hawks getting away with interference is beyond silliness. Yeah, I'm sure the Hawks goal is to SLOW down the game and make it a muck fest. That would sure play to their strengths!

The Wild are on the right path and are going to be tough in the future.

Suter has definitely elevated his game this season and in this series and has become what he maybe couldn't in Weber's shadow. Love how he's going toe to toe with Toews.

AM 1040 out of Vancouver is always good for a few laughs on Elimination Day After although it's more fun when the elimination is surprising.

I think Nucks fans were resigned by the end here.

Oh my gosh, Fleury is awful. Lucky for the Isles or they'd probably be out already.

There is no doubt that the Wild are getting beaten by a better team. But to claim the Hawks don't pick like everyone else in the league is beyond silliness too. I admit they do it in their d-zone much more than in the neutral zone, but they do get away with a lot of them.

I am no wild expert, but I am under the impression they have a decent stock of talent coming up. Given that they made the playoffs this year and have a ton of guys who are going to only get better, I suspect they will be more of a contender in years to come - unlike older teams like vancouver which are clearly on the decline.

Does minnesota have any goaltending prospects in the pipeline?

How glorious would it be if Montreal, Pittsburgh and Vancouver all exited in the first round?

One down.
