NHL Announces 1st Women's Winter Classic Game

Re: NHL Announces 1st Women's Winter Classic Game

What the site needs is a ban hammer for evil trolls. I had been ignoring Pukechucker for a while now but this latest was just too special. I just skip over anything he posts & will never respond to him, I'd ask that everyone do the same. He has shown himself to be beneath contempt and we have already wasted more bits on him than he is worth.

yeah, I fell for his trap.
that gets me going though. a kid injured really strikes a cord...especially knowing the family.
he's dead to all.

I don't agree with a lot of what he (I actually don't know if the poster is a male or female but I'm following what everyone else seems to believe) says but I also don't agree with banning posters who voice contrary opinions. Sounds like the same thought control going on at colleges across the country. Its called free speech, not safe speech. He certainly gets everyone pretty riled up but that is not necessarily a bad thing in our society. Also, in this particular case, I don't even see what is so objectionable about what he said in his original post. He pointed out that the NHL and the officials thought the ice was in acceptable condition and he wished her a speedy recovery. That's all I saw in his post. Its a tragic accident but those issues he points out will certainly be central to her lawsuit if it ever gets that far. It seems to me that he is being vilified for not getting on the sympathy train rather than for saying something that was actually unkind or mean-spirited. I'm in favor of free speech even if it isn't what I want to hear.

you should really shut your glory hole. if you come to UNH please seek me out. i'll be the guy in the Notre Dame sweatshirt. i'll be at the front of the line of at least 30 people...we can exchange pleasantries.

I bet you wear a Notre Dame sweatshirt because that is what your priest made you wear when you were his alter boy.

glory hole? I'm not sure what I said to give you the idea I'm that kind of guy, I'll have to pass on that, but you go right ahead if that's your idea of a good time. Let me guess, Grant is the guy on the other side of the wall. He must be very good at it to have "guys" lined up 30 deep for it. ROFL, it's pretty much what I expect from people living in the east coast cesspool

I wouldn't worry about it, don't take these people seriously, if you read posts in the MN thread during the winter break you'll see they were fighting with each other because I wasn't around, when there is nobody to fight with they bark at the moon. Several of them live for my posts, you can always tell when they are desperate for my posts, they say they are going to ignore me in hopes of me responding. Being a caring person, I find it hard not to.

I'd agree with you except for 2 comments he made earlier
"If a game played by girls is that important to you, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for you."
So he does not care about womens hockey meaning he is only here to start fights. Thats why I never respond to him and a good reason he should be gone from here. His act plays better over on the mens side

then there is is:
"and just ignore angry lesbians"

The occasional post he makes (and apparently the only one you saw) where he is not intentionally misrepresenting peoples comments and being insulting to both posters and womens hockey may be while he is on his meds and that is all fine and good. Maybe he just could use a break, a little time out, to help work through whatever anger issues are driving his behavior.
