What about a little south of Saskatoon?
Am I the only one who got this?

Saksatoon might fill a similarly-sized building, but it's not a TV market, ergo it will never happen. The Peg barely qualifies.
It's also not a market that the NHL needs to grow. They are in Arizona, and soon to be Las Vegas, for a reason. Their business model is to expand the interest in the game rather than fill out a building. It's the give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach him a fish and he'll eat for a life time analogy. Saskatoon is already a hockey market, just not a large enough market.

Reports out of Buffalo have Patrick Kane in a bit of (big) trouble with the law.
Put me in the "not very shocked at this news" camp.
Not very shocked that he finds himself in this situation or wouldn't be shocked if he's a rapist?
I'm not surprised by the former, but the latter would definitely be an unwelcome surprise.
Not shocked he's in this situation.
He hasn't been especially....responsible....in the past. The stories about his drunken escapades from a few years ago were pretty eye opening. It was more than him getting drunk and having fun, it made it seem like there were some other issues going on.
edit: here's the Deadspin article: http://deadspin.com/5909246/reconstructing-patrick-kanes-drunken-weekend-in-madison
In his defense, "drunken weekend" in Madison is kind of a gimme.
Some of us get drunk in Madison and sing a fight song while harmlessly walking back to a hotel.
Others get drunk before noon, try to force themselves on girls, try to choke some too, have confrontations with police, and repeatedly get kicked out of bars.
I bet he'd have done so much better in that town if he'd have told the ladies there that his name was Phil Kessel. Hockey fans in that town love Phil. There's different levels...
