Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Preds, Sharks, Isles, Blues, Caps... It's going to be fascinating to see who wets the bed the worst when they all flame out.

Even with relatively new titles, one expects no better from Dallas (just nearly got taken to 7 by the perennially underachieving Wild) and Lightning (2004 was a loooong time ago).

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

...Really don't like the Ducks.
Same; one of my least favorite NHL teams. Glad the Preds got it done last night.

Ducks coach looking splotchy. :D
And the talking heads are saying that with 4 straight Game 7 losses, Coach Boudreau's job is -- and should be -- in jeopardy.

Sounds good to me. But why stop there? Why not shed half the roster and start over completely?

Now, circle back to my first comment. If blowing up the current group in Anaheim appeals to me, maybe the Ducks would be well advised to take a calmer approach.

They should triple down and bring in Burrows so they can have all of the Canuck d-bags to combine with Perry and Getzlaf (and Stoner).

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

I was pulling for the Preds (have to extend the Central division to the Pacific), but their win pushes Game 3 of DAL-STL to that awful 9:30 EDT start.

The equivalent of first world hockey problems. :p

Why not? The more the merrier.:)

Having a clear villain increases the intensity, and therefore the fun.

A name has been chosen!

History will remember the illustrious Red Wing homes. First, Olympia. Then, Joe Louis. And now, Little Caesars!

How will the Crazy Bread fit in?
Don't get any ideas, Detroit. No way are the Hawks letting you get Panarin.

Quite a moniker for the new rink. Guess the Red Wings nickname will have to go, to be replaced by "Tyrants." No doubt the team's primary on-ice objective will be to dictate the style of play.;)

It'll be known as the Roman Senate Chamber.

One does not simply wear the color red within the senate chamber.
