Re: NHL 2013 - The Lower 48.

Wow! Nice play by Setoguchi!

I need a Stoner - Minnesota Wild t-shirt to wear to Phish shows this summer. :D

Wonder how many of the wookies would realize it's not a lot shirt.

Re: NHL 2013 - The Lower 48.

It appears that Anaheim thought this game was over after 2.

They were apparently mistaken.

Re: NHL 2013 - The Lower 48.

Toews is amazing. I really enjoyed watching him and Oshie when they would come to the Kohl Center even though they'd kill us. Then I get to watch him on my NHL team and have him hoist the first Stanley Cup of my lifetime (43 years old).

I love him. :D:p

That pass tonight... my kid was like, "He just chucked that there hoping that a teammate would be there."

I'm like, "Well, he chucked it tape to tape right past a defenseman's stick!"

He never looked, but he knew Seabs was there. No question.

I've been a Blackhawks fan ever since I heard the Fido Purpur story.

One more Toews story from his rookie season at UND ... carries the puck around the back of the net, as he gets to the corner he looks to the point, his body faces the point, but he shoots a no-look shot in the near upper corner. That as a 17-year-old freshman. Just wow, ever since.

I gotta get back to the U.C. Great gameday experience.

I love my Wild, but Toews has definitely made me a Hawks fan. He's my favorite player and it's not close. I've seen almost every Chicago game with NHL Gamecenter.

The streak lives!

Sure, the Hawks got two power plays late, but you can't argue those. They're either a penalty or not.

Detroit played a great game. Felt like a playoff game.

Agreed it was a penalty, thems the breaks. But wow, Clinging to a 1-0 lead hoping to end Chicago's streak with so little time left and that penalty is the one that you get? Jeez.

Great game. No way a game like this should go to a shootout. This should just be a tie.

Great, GREAT game.

Shootout to come...

And they did it TWICE. Ericsson to give Kane the PPG and then Kronwall.

Canucks plane was grounded last night due to ice, and delayed today by the winter storm in Calgary. Just took off about 20 minutes ago, will land less than 3 hours before gametime. That should be interesting.

I was sure that Paciorretty's goal would be disallowed due to a kicking motion. But upon review, he kicked Boychuk's stick into the path of the puck, so it didn't hit his skate. Awesome.
