I agree, play should be stopped immediately in those situations.
He'll probably be saying hi to Shanahan next for that one.
Tough call. If it's not interfering play (he's not in the path of the action), I say play on. Otherwise you could run into players milking it for the whistle.
It seemed pretty obvious that he wasn't faking. Limbs went stiff and was doing the crappie flop for a bit.
Oh, no, I didn't mean to imply that in this case. I'm looking ahead to the future.

He should.

What penalty? Two minutes for being Kronwall? Because Vorachek put his head into the hit? Because Kronwall hit him square with his shoulder?
2 minutes for a check to the head under rule 48: the head was targeted and the principle point of contact.
I'll have to look at it again, but I think the Pronger Argument may be in effect. It didn't appear that he raised his arm/elbow, nor was it a non-puck play. Again, I have to re-watch it.
Kronwall is 6'0". Voracheck is 6'2". Pronger argument is invalid.I'll have to look at it again, but I think the Pronger Argument may be in effect. It didn't appear that he raised his arm/elbow, nor was it a non-puck play. Again, I have to re-watch it.

@TSNBobMcKenzie: No suppl disc for Kronwall on Voracek. PPOC was head but deemed full body on body hit. Not a hit NHL believes should be out of the game.
