I can't remember where I read the comments/conversation (was it here?) but someone had said once that if a team gets penalized at the 20:00 minute mark of the period, the team with the powerplay should get to take the opening faceoff the next period in the offensive zone.

Complete agreement. You have to scramble and can't get into rhythm at the end of the period. If you do lose the draw as Scarlet said, then it's killed off when you start back up.

I read the excerpt on his TSN blog. I met him several times before 93 while working security at MLG, and like most officials he was a good guy.
