Why do you fire a coach, even Rex Ryan, with 1 game left in the season? Is that really enough time to get a good look at the interim coach? Why not do this 4 weeks ago?

I'm not sure about the rules re: interviewing other teams' assistants in the regular season. I know you can't interview a coach whose team is in the playoffs, once the playoffs start. I'm not sure any assistant coach on another team would have any time during the regular season anyway, but I'm curious about that rule.

I'd can him and see if the team played better under the interim coach who got promoted internally. Go 3-1 or something with the new guy and you might have your answer. Go 0-4 and its clearly not the coaching staff.

Getting back to the Bills though he's going to be the last high profile coach to accept that job. QB situation is a mess and they don't seem to have much in the way of talent. Should have sent the GM out the door with him.

Owners wanted to sit QB, Rex wanted to win. Bye bye rex. Hopefully Jets hire him again or maybe Miami :)

Well I won the playoffs in my work league as a 6-7 team. Which is retribution for only losing the super bowl the first year and having it stolen again last year.

Took third in my dynasty league because stupid Rodgers, Blount, and Crowder sh_t the bed in the semis.

Finished tied for second in overall record at the end of the playoffs in my primary league. Had a mediocre season and went in as the #4 seed. Stupid Lavern bell decided to get 56 points so I lost.

I am now officially the Minnesota Vikings of my fantasy football league...I'm now 0-6 in Super Bowls, including two other losses in the semi-final round.
I picked the wrong quarterback this week and lost by ~2.5...would have won by ~1.5 with the other...can't believe I lost because Ebron decided to have his best week since week 11...and Elliott didn't play a snap in the 4th quarter.

@AdamSchefter: Doug Martin’s suspension will cost him $1.47M - $235,000 for missing Sunday’s game, another $1.235M for missing first 3 games next season.
 
So the Broncos and Panthers will miss the playoffs this year. Is this the first time when both Super Bowl participants from the previous season missed the playoffs?

With exception to one drive thus far, the NFL should license Fox to play Yackety Sax when the Bears' offense has the ball.

Fox's highlight music and package was the most depresssing thing I've ever seen. It looked and sounded like it was produced by the middle school AV club.

I think I've heard of an interview during the WC bye week if you're 1-2
