My "in depth" draft analysis: The NFL didn't like my QB pick and thought my TE/WR strategy was Abby Something.

*Laughing in the face of decades of fantasy tradition, Clown's Bottom Dwellers didn't choose a running back in the first three rounds of the draft.
*Andy Dalton, taken with the 80th overall pick, has an ADP of 123.0 across all NFL.com leagues. That may have been a bit of a reach in the 7th round.
*Keenan Allen figures to get the ball early and often, projected to finish third in the league with 108 touches.

Those grades are usually pretty BS, from my experience. They're computer generated from the rankings, and IMO don't take into account all factors.

I have several players I personally have rated higher than they do on ESPN/Yahoo/NFL, and others that are highly ranked that I wouldn't draft regardless, due to injury concerns, or other concerns (Arian Foster, Jamaal Charles, Jordan Reed, etc.), so if I were to jump over a few players and "reach" for one of my target guys, the computer would ding me.

Shame Cam Newton isn't an actual QB or a couple of those Denver guys could've been ejected.

When Cam lowers his head and creates a helmet to helmet hit you can't pin that on the defender. Those hits would have been on his shoulder if he didn't lower his head.

A handful of them when he was in the pocket. You can't claim he was lowering his shoulder there.

More players are joining Kaepernick's protest. The Seahawks are talking about remaining seated as a team during Sunday's anthem.

Can you imagine how many people in red states are going to have a rage stroke because an entire team sits out the national anthem on the 15th anniversary of 9/11?

I'm afraid we're going to have to go draconian and start taking full game checks for shots like that.

And if the refs don't want to throw a flag, take their game checks, too. What's good for one group is good for the other.

I'm in favor of both of those. That was so malicious there is absolutely no way to see it other than him trying to end Cam's career.

Trying to officiate something at full speed, without the aid of replay equipment, is much more difficult than most people realize. Some penalties are called at the discretion of the officials (Was the person who received the hit changing his position in some way that led to a dangerous situation that could not be avoided bye the hitter? Did the official have a good line of sight to see everything necessary to make the call? Etc..) Fining officials for missed calls could lead to a lowering of officiating quality as the top ranks may not view it as being worth their time and effort anymore.

My conservative friends are already having a rage stroke. They're talking about boycotting the NFL, saying "This infuriates me," etc.

I think they're idiots, but ****ed off, hell no. If I got mad at everything that I disagreed with my life would be really **** miserable. Afterall, its a free country, they can do what they want, and it has no effect on me, so why should I care?
