Re: NFL 2014-15: Iron Fist Getting Rusty?

3. How were so many reporters aware of the video or the facts shown in the video if you were not? Don't you ever read or watch sports columns/shows? Weren't you a little bit curious? What happened to the great NFL Security Department? Are we expected to believe no one in the NFL power structure ever considered going direct to the casino where the crime took place?
PUH-leeeeze!

Totally agree. I am I really suppose to believe that TMZ has better investigative people and more influence than the NFL? Come on, Goodell needs to go sell that ketchup popsicle to some other white gloved person. I'm not buying it.

The theory that TMZ got it this week from a now unemployed casino worker seeking a pay day makes sense.

That plenty of reporters reported versions of the video months ago, and those versions have now been proven accurate, really makes the nfl's story unbelievable.

Hmm...do I trade my Ray Rice jersey in for pizza? Find my way back to Maryland and a Ravens game and exchance it at the stadium store?

...or...should I be a horrible person and use it for a Halloween costume that's in bad taste?

(and yes, I actually own a Ray Rice jersey)

If Michael Sam pops his significant other does he get 6 games?

Should a WNBA player who hits her spouse (either sex) receive the same approbation as Ray Rice?

Seems fair.

Domestic violence is bad, and should have penalties as harsh or harsher than drug use. By that, I mean on the professional front- there are already penalties on the criminal front.

It would not be unprecidented- isn't the owner of the Colts serving a multi game ban for drunk driving?

If you want to be in REALLY bad taste, put some fake bruises on your face with the jersey.

Careful with that one. That sort of thing tends to go viral - and not in a good way.

Remember the chick who dressed as a Boston Marathon victim.

"Ignorance was no excuse. If he didn’t know, he should have known."

R. Goodell, re Saints Bounty scandal.
