JJ Watt is singlehandedly keeping HOU in this game. JFC.

I have no problem with this fine. He knows the rules.
And he has terrible taste. Seriously, the league says "we want you to use Bose" and he says "forget that, I want to wear these garbage headphones instead of high-end Bose". Idiot.

Colin Kaepernick was fined $10,000 for wearing Beats by Dre headphones.

He has an endorsement deal with Beats. I wouldn't doubt if Beats would give him a bonus for every fine the NFL imposes upon him.

Since appearing in last year’s Super Bowl, Kaepernick has landed deals with McDonald’s, Jaguar, Electronic Arts, Beats by Dre and MusclePharm.

“He’s skyrocketing,” said Bob Dorfman, executive creative director at San Francisco’s Baker Street Advertising. “It’s pretty amazing how quickly he’s risen to this level.”

Dorfman estimates that quarterback Kaepernick has earned between $1 million to $3 million from his deals. That is a significant amount when compared to his salary. Picked by the Niners in the second round of the 2011 draft, Kaepernick is paid an average of $1.2 million per season, about the same amount paid to backup quarterback Colt McCoy.

$10K for viral publicity better than any print ad or commercial can provide. That's a good deal.

Hell, it's making me get behind Beats and I think they're the most overrated for the price headphones on the market.

Did and interview with Terry Pegula on the Pats-Bills game. Man of few words. What a concept -- a guy with lots of money, adds a D1 hockey program, invests in the Bills with -- apparently -- the intention of keeping them in Buffalo, and doesn't like to listen to himself talk.

Re: NFL 2014-15: Iron Fist Getting Rusty?

I liked the old system of first team to score (either way) wins.

I like to have it where if one team scores, the other has one chance to answer. A sort of sudden death, but simpler than today's NFL OT rules.
