New York Yankees: Order Has Been Restored To The Universe

Re: New York Yankees: Order Has Been Restored To The Universe

The last thread was closed by a truly pathetic soul. Nuff said.

Re: New York Yankees: Order Has Been Restored To The Universe

Just saw on the crawler on the local LI news that A-Rod will not require any futher hip surgery.

Re: New York Yankees: Order Has Been Restored To The Universe

To whoever neg repped me: I have plenty of pictures to prove otherwise. Thanks for your concern though :)

I'm not one to neg rep, so I'll say it here:

You're easily one of the worst posters around. Most of us around here on the Internet bring very little to the table, but you manage to go even below that.

Now go get your shinebox.

Looks like the Yankees will sign Nick Johnson for one year at $5.5 million (with incentives for plate appearances) and a mutual option for 2011 at the same number.

Not a bad deal there.

I like it. And this has got to put Damon at a disadvantage.

Cram it up your cram hole, Damon. We just got a serviceable DH AND an outfielder who hits to right field for less than what you're asking for. Time to re-evaluate your position.

Absolutely. Of the other teams that I've read are interested in him, I'd least like to see him end up in Seattle. All the others are NL clubs so it's not a big deal (San Francisco, Atlanta, Washington).

I got my Happy Holidays card from the Yankees the other day.

(This was a lame way to mark the thread.)

:D

Re: New York Yankees: Order Has Been Restored To The Universe

That probably won't be something that becomes public knowledge until February at the earliest.

Yeah, they're still doing season ticket renewals, then they need to do upgrades, then new season ticket plans, then a handful of presales, and then the GP sale.

Re: New York Yankees: Order Has Been Restored To The Universe

so what is the story with gang wang?

Funny you ask, Fatso Cafardo reported today that the Yankees said they'll match any offers made to Wang. That's within reason though, I'm sure... Not that anyone is going to overpay for a guy who's been hurt.

There's only one thing better than a newspaper with a fat jagoff reporting for their baseball beat, and that's a newspaper with two fat jagoffs reporting for their baseball beat.

wang better hurry up. it seems like ben sheets' demands are dwindling to the point of 'this could work even if his arm falls off' territory.

The way this whole CMW situation is playing out makes me believe that he wants to be in the Yanks organization next year and has an agreement with them that he'll accept their offer of matching the highest bid (within reason). Kind of a way of being faithful by CMW and the organization to one another.
