New Hampshire Vs. Jon's Friars in Rhody

PC 0 UNH 0, Period 1

PC 0 UNH 0, Period 1

Manz fired in on net from Center ice and Beaudry saves it.

UNH sounding like they're buzzing some here early.

PC 0 UNH 0, Period 1

PC 0 UNH 0, Period 1

Kipp with a shot saved by Beaudry w/the pad.

UNH still in the zone... PC clears it now, down behind Foster...

Foster stops Cavanagh (not sure which one) and play heads back down ice.

A lot of up and down here.

Beaudry w/a save and a whistle, 5:09 to go.

UML up 1-0 on MC it sounds like.

Definitely, just seems like they're trying too hard to create drama.

I remember when Hockey East used to do a shootout, was quite glad when they stopped that malarkey.
I don't even like the after-added-time trading of penalty shots at the highest level of soccer (read: World Cup).

Jeez -- you're supposed to be the best athletes, in what's easily the world's predominant sport. And you can't play to a conclusion because you're, ummm... a bit fatigued?!?!

Suck it up -- substitutions are allowed, and half the time you're barely moving anyway... And you generally ain't got another game for several
more days anyway.

Compare that with TdF cyclists, and their 3-week course of death by attrition, mountains, field sprints and individual time trials...

Off the face off Beck w/a shot, save Beaudry and it's cleared.

And now a long wrister saved by Foster the other way, face off coming.

Richard, not that I'm not enjoying talking to you, ha, but where is every one else?

Re: New Hampshire Vs. Jon's Friars in Rhody

Contrary to this thread total, I do not own PC ice hockey.

Gloved by Beaudry on a backhander that was dumped in.

You let it go private?

Welcome aboard! We were just asking where everyone was, and our answer came in a great form...

Thompson is on fire. Sounded like Beaudry just came off the post, though, and Paul took advantage.

No, I passed up this game so I could go to the glittering palace that is Lawler Arena.
Ha, despite it's ambiance, I do love that place.

End of the period.

Sounds like DeSimone and Butler with the assists on the Thompson goal.

Re: New Hampshire Vs. Jon's Friars in Rhody

Uh-oh. Just as I was trying to raise Jon's spirits.
Speaking of spirits, drink of the night is Dogfish Head's World Wide Stout.

Fresh from Milton, Delaware -- yummm!

Label says: A very dark beer brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley". They ain't kidding. And alcohol, evidently.

Re: New Hampshire Vs. Jon's Friars in Rhody

Snively - I had the Stone Brewing Ruination IPA. Now that that is out of the way, I need to check on the game.
