Haha, I know, right? I couldn't pass up the chance to see the Bruins on rare So. Cal. trip.Hey, Erin -- welcome back to both of us.![]()
Thank you again -- much quicker feed... Who won da Bruins' game you caught?Since a few people have asked the past few threads I was in for the better feed: http://secure.stretchinternet.com/demo/games.php?user=unh&o=cal_stamp&sd=today
No problem.Thank you again -- much quicker feed... Who won da Bruins' game you caught?
Couldn't agree with you more. Best game I ever saw in person -- and thus arguably includes even the one below (second period of that one was quiet) was when UNH beat Cornell in the Garden in the 1977 (?) ECAC semi-finals.No problem.
The Bruins lost to the Kings in a shootout last Saturday while I was there (I hate the shootout, could of just not played the game if that's how you're going to decide a "winner").
I think in the regular season, ties are okay, give 'em each a point and move on. The playoffs are great w/the 20 min. sudden death OT, that I get.Couldn't agree with you more. Final score: UNH 10, Cornell 9 in 2 OT's (!) This is not a typo.
And those were 20 minute OT's -- not the girlie-boy 5 minute ones we have now.
Game on...
Again, agreed. I have no problem with one point each after five minutes in regular season play.I think in the regular season, ties are okay, give 'em each a point and move on. The playoffs are great w/the 20 min. sudden death OT, that I get.
Definitely, just seems like they're trying too hard to create drama.Again, agreed. I have no problem with one point each after five minutes in regular season play.
The shootout thing is lame -- imagine letting B-ball teams trade shooting foul shots after a tied first OT...![]()
