NU 2 UNH 0, 1st Intermission

NU 2 UNH 0, 1st Intermission

The winds hit over 75 MPH at my house. The entire seacoast is trashed, power lines and trees down everywhere. No snow, just tons of rain and winds. The joys of living in New Hampshire I guess :(
Yeah, I heard Hampton got slammed, roofs getting ripped off and fires :(

Hi Erin

Sounds like it was a bad 1st period, gotta come out strong in the 2nd!

Speaking of the weather my wife and daughter were going to drive from Indiana to Worcester tonite for a wedding shower tomorrow. I told her every state from Indiana to Massachusetts has a Winter storm warning and I heard several of the highways in NY and Penn were closed so I'm glad she didn't go!

Yikes, whackiness. I didn't realize it stretched that far... knew New England was bad.

Hey Richard, glad you're safe.

Well I will say that 1 1/2 inches of snow is a winter storm warning for Indiana but you have to take that in perspective.....

No prob at this end -- amazingly, we didn't lose power this time down here.

Winds in NH were unreal. Portsmouth recorded officially a gust of 91 miles per hour!!

Richard, yeah, my parents were deep in Maine yesterday/last night because my grandmother had surgery on her foot, said it was windy there too, but didn't know what they'd be going home to. Everything is OK, my brother went over and checked on the house for them before they got back. They have power, so that's a relief. They're in Hudson, NH (Nashua area).

Hampton (Hampton Beach?) got drilled -- big wind-started/aided fire. Plus 25 foot waves and higher clobbering the seacoast from Portland on down...

Glad to hear they're OK. Saw that 330,000 folks in NH lost power -- that's a quarter of the entire state's population!

Bad thing just happened on the ice... :(
