Great to see Coach Duggan get the recognition!
I do feel Bowdoin's Tess-Wanat (14-12-26) had all-conference type stats and how is Amherst goalie Sinead Murphy's NESCAC leading .941 saves %, 3 shutouts and 8-1-1 not worthy?
Hope to see you all in Midd this weekend.

I agree with the Murphy comment, although there has been a bias in this conference against goalies that only play 60% of the conference games.

Congrats to all the honorees. Hey Plugger, I guess pushing my opinion on POTY didn't bother the coaches much.

Too bad for Murphy. She would have had a great shot at AA IMHO.

I would be surprised. She gives up 8 goals on 39 shots against Norwich, and 4 goals on 16 shots against Middlebury at the end of the season. Not very good. Hopefully she does better in the playoffs, if they want to win the West.

what about 3 time POTW winner Kayte Holtz not being awarded player of the year? other awards seem accurate-- but when was the last time a Wes player was given recognition?

Holtz had a great season and I am sure she was at least a candidate for POTY. I had no problem with Lloyd as POTY; she is electric and can really take over a game.
Was Stemerman ever all-conference for Wesleyan?

I thought Holtz would have been über worthy. I thought Lloyd was the best player on a great team, and Bowdoin did not live up to expectations until the latter part of the season.

The same logic suggests that ROTY could have easily been given to Salmon or Bialawski, but these coaches know what they are doing and all these kids were deserving, IMHO.
