Once or twice I wondered why my nom de guerre on this site was red, and once I wondered why it became green, and once wondered why it became red again. I never gave a hoot, so I never investigated. However, this feeble thread has provided me with a epiphany! The color accompanying one's "handle" is apparently the product of some arcane (hick) process allegedly involving "neg repping." Wow. It's junior high slam books revisited.
