Don't worry about that. Tech can help found the Wrestling College Handkerchief Association.
You are forgetting one thing in your diatribe. As a former USOC bigwig Scherr knows how to bribe and grease wheels which will result in the NCHC leaving the WCHA in the dust even faster. Heck maybe Tech will be folding in five years.

It does look like an idiotic hire for a hockey league, but to be honest making fun of the Nacho League became kind of sad long ago, even before they lost BC, BU, and ND and had to go begging on their knees for St. Cloud to "rescue" them from their mistakes. It's like kicking a bleeding puppy at this point after all the piles of fail.

It's cute how Tech fans were the ones leading the whining and now are the ones leading the taunting. They are obviously taking out their 30 years of incompetence and pent up aggression against a league that they know in their hearts will be better than the new WCHA. All in a vain attempt to make their pathetic, sad and lonely lives just a bit better.

The Nacho League was initially nicknamed the Butthurt Hockey Conference (BHHC) - because of the obvious Big 10 envy that went into it's ill-advised founding - before it's horrifyingly misguided attempt to brand itself as being "national" (before getting a firm commitment from any eastern team) brought about the Nacho reputation. So you probably want to avoid using that word... just saying.
