I think it's a HE crew.

Penalty to SCSU for interference... NMU player was hauled down going to the net.

14:25 left in the 2nd period, 1:12 left on the NMU PP, still 2-1 SCSU.

HE refs are stinking it up. How do you call that and not the hold that led to that situation?

I suspect the officials are now in the process of evening up the powerplays - another penalty to SCSU, this time for holding.

11:41 left in the 2nd, shots are 19-10 SCSU, score is 2-1 SCSU - NMU on the PP.

NMU failed to get it deep on their last rush and it cost them - SCSU generated several chances on their ensuing rush (Lasch very nearly scored). NMU started running around in its own end and wound up taking a penalty.

8 minutes left in the 2nd, still 2-1 SCSU, and they are now on the PP (1/4, 7 shots).

... and Roe scores on the PP to make it 3-1.

Northern is clearly hell bent on allowing SCSU off the schnide.

Lee just absolutely robbed someone - puck got shot into his outstretched arm.

NMU scores - Kaunisto. 3-2 SCSU.

SCSU got sloppy there.

Corrected the initial call of Hanson from Kaunisto - it didn't hit Hanson - it went in off an SCSU player by the looks of it.

SCSU has controlled the game but has to be kicking themselves for not translating that control into a much larger lead.

And they're not a good third period team.

NMU finishes the last few minutes of the period with hellacious pressure, but no goals to show for it.

3-2 SCSU after 2

That turnover / goal really shifted the momentum - it was all NMU after that.

If SCSU ends up losing, this will be a very clear-cut case of beating themselves; they've had a heavy edge in play most of this game, but they keep letting NMU back into it.
