Gophers looking very good. I thought they might struggle a bit, but they got off to a quick start. If not for the early penalties, this one might be 5-0. Very impressed with Minnesota in the first period...lightning quick, dominating the puck...scary good.

Just when the Colonials were starting to look a bit more capable, Rau makes it 4-0.

Colonials make it 4-1. Hopefully that serves as a wake up call, the Gophers seem to have backed off the intensity a bit.

Gophers were dominating play but a 2 on 1 the other way and its 4-2

Colonials make it 4-2 after the Gophers had several prime chances. Ouch.

The hockey themed sports bar I'm at just turned it off in favor of the Maple Leafs :D

Romo has made the game interesting, we'll see if the Gophs can put them away.
