Gophers are playing some great D tonight, being very solid on the back end could bode well in this 3rd period.

15:26 left in the third. Minnesota almost puts one in on the break but it gets cleared away. Huskies with lots of offensive zone time early.

Gophers settling in on the defensive end with the three-goal lead. Their shots have declined significantly, Huskies getting a few more off.
