Credit the goal to freshman Justin Schultz. Took a pretty large deflection off a UVM defender.

Uh oh. Before the TV timeout, there was a scramble in front of the UW net, and they come back from the break and award a goal to Vermont.
Looks to be a pretty decent call actually.

Badger goalie had the puck and was knocked back into his net by his own player and Vermont has been awarded a gift goal.

I agree. Stepan just pushed him right into the back of the net with the puck. Derrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

puck was bouncing around on the replay, sucks but his own man pushed him in while he was juggling it.

At first I thought a UVM player pushed Gudmandson into the net, but on the replay it looked like a Badger skated right into his own goalie...

After the Badger's first goal was deflected in by a defender, we can't complain too loudly about that unusual goal the other way.

UW's Mitchell gets 2 minutes for boarding at 14:07.

Kinda weird play - Mitchell stepped to the left to kind of avoid the hit but the Vermont player bent over at the waist and put his head right between the Badger and the boards.
