I think the cold has forced him to turn up the heat in his shanty and he suffering the effects of reduced oxygen, but hopefully he is catching them by the buckets. He needs to keep an eye on things though, polar bears LOVE fish too!!!

Fair enough, I guess the bait was 'ranking' Bowdoin 11th in the East and I bit. I really hope he gets satisfaction knowing that.... Carry on, as you were.

Wasn't baiting anyone. The rankings that matter have been revealed, and they look OK to me... But I do think it's a little interesting to derive a formula of my own, and to see that it's pretty-much as plausible as the KRACH, Prof's, or the NCAA's. (And much more so than the laughable USCHO poll, which has been so ridiculous this season that it is easily ignored.)

Everybody should come up with one; why not? Polls/rankings are a fun read, even where there isn't much of substance upon which to base them. What they amount to are simply opinions, whether mathematically-derived or not.

(And I only have Bowdoin that low because their SOS stinks... Simple as that, nothing personal intended.)

I highly doubt you find the USCHO poll a fun read.
