NCAA Quarterfinal: Mercyhurst @ Boston University

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal: Mercyhurst @ Boston University

Congrats BU. Good luck in Erie. Sperry kept them in the game the first period and credit to BU for keeping our second and third lines off the scoreboard.

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal: Mercyhurst @ Boston University

Great game!! So excited for them. Congrats to Brian Durocher and his team on a well-played game.

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal: Mercyhurst @ Boston University

A solid congrats to BU. Excellent adjustments post first period. Excellent 1st period especially by Sperry. Seems like some with 'Tudes on here might be shocked to hear no whining from a Hurst fan, LOL, but.... it is what it is! Great game, only one team could win, better team won in a tightly contested battle. Isn't that what we hope for in all of sport?

I do have to admit though, I do think it's kinda cool that there'll be only one WCHA team in the Frozen Four. ;)

That will make it the fourth Frozen Four where that has been the case. New blood is good for the event.

I do have to admit though, I do think it's kinda cool that there won't be any CHA team in the Frozen Four. :p

C'mon now...you won't think it's cool if by some freak occurrence that one, single WCHA representative wins the title. Whaddya figure the odds of that happening are now?

Who ever takes it is gonna have to put three very good games back to back...to back. :)

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal: Mercyhurst @ Boston University

That was certainly unexpected, at least for me.
Good luck with Cornell:)

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal: Mercyhurst @ Boston University

take that mercyhurst??

clearly you are just a team fan and not a hockey fan.. it was a hard fought game by both teams and it honestly could have gone either way.
