Genny is the fastest team I've seen all year; a crew of little water-bugs, a la the classic BC teams that won a bunch of NC's in D-1.

I love their style of play, and I'm all about the Knights right now. I think that they can skate around Point, even, but time will tell.

I haven’t seen Point, so I can’t comment. But I heard they are fast, too. Would love to see that matchup.

In the meantime, both semifinal matchups are going to be great.

Speed kills. And Manhattanville are a bunch of babies.

The game unfolded pretty much the way I thought it would, though I did believe the score would be closer. Some defensive lapses early on by the Knights after the two week layoff, but by midway through the second period it was pretty clear that Manhattanville didn't have the speed (or legs) and skill to keep up with Geneseo. Nice also for the future of the Knights to see 3 goals from first years and 4 overall by underclassmen. Congrats to the boys!
