Alaska has been able to control the tempo of the game so far, but haven't really had many great chances.

BC with another chance, but barely missed.

thanks, listening to the audio feed is the most intense way to experience a game, announcers shouting so loud its impossible to hear what they say and you're not even fully sure who has the puck half the time, it's like a 60 minute heart attack. But it is fun.

BC with a 3 on 1, but they shoot it high. Alaska got caught pinching in, and it very nearly cost them.

30 seconds left in the 1st.

Alaska has been able to control the tempo, and finally were able to generate a few chances in the last couple minutes.

Listening to the Alaska radio feed. They seem very excited about playing in a regional, and it's fun to listen to! I'm debating if I want to listen to BC's feed, or if they're going to act like they're meant to be champions.

Nooks had a good start and were beginning to get their game legs and shake off the big game jitters. Giving up the shorty set them back on their heels a bit. It seems they started playing even more cautious after the BC goal. Hope they realize that they can skate with guys and play their game. At least we avoided a “disastrous” first period in our first NCAAs.
