Good thing I was just following this one tonight, because it would have been ugly to watch! Onto the WCHA next year for the Beavers, where they will face much stiffer competition then they did this year. The Beavs started the year hot, and slowly went downhill ultimetly 2-2-2 i think to finish out and 0-1-1 in the CHA tourney. Was hoping they could turn it on in the tourney this year like last, but that was for not. Hopefully little RIT can take the cake this year!

I didn't think they played that bad, the D was pretty sound, and goaltending good, they were just not ready for michigan's offensive game and didn't take advantage of the pp chances early.I see miami winning the bracket.

To the beaver fans- it was close- a lot closer than 5-1. Once you got that goal, you could see a lot change, and Bemidji pressed quite hard. It was a bad turn over + some good passing that ended that momentum.
4 basically ended it, and one has to admit that the beginning of the play was pretty lucky- Rust didn't really win the faceoff, but got it, and Hagelin just took off....
You guys earned to be here, and showed it. Good season, good luck in the WCHA for the future.
For tomorrow- GO BLUE!

It was close enough, and yes MI was the better team, but punching the back of the head? And tackling a guy and punching him? Not cool.
