Was rooting for Wisconsin for the wife, but I appreciate the irony of the GWG being scored after Wisconsin's goalie threw his stick given he did the same thing against Dartmouth to stop a goal (uncalled).
 
After NoDak won in 2016, the race to ten had Michigan at 9 waiting since 1998 for another, North Dakota sitting at 8, and Denver and Wisconsin at 6, with the last title from each of those teams being in 05 and 06, respectively.

Since then, the only program in the top four to win has been Denver, and they now have 11.

Denver had 7 at that time, but your point stands. Impressive run.
