Crazy is right.

If this keeps up, we would see the second most goals in a title game (CC beat Michigan 13-6 in 1957). The most in recent history is 15 in 1991 (NMU beat BU 8-7 in 3ot).

Last team to allow 4 goals and win the National Title? North Dakota in 1997 (beat BU 6-4). They scored 5 goals in the second after trailing by 2 after twenty minutes. Minnesota can still get the job done, but they need to shake off the first period.

Regardless of what happens, it's going to be fun watching a Western offense try to come back against an Eastern defense - best case scenario for pure entertainment value.

Dutchmen look like they are tentative to start the second...watch out if the Gophers get the next one

I was going to mention that game, as well as the 91 championship game where BU lead Northern Michigan 3-0 in the first and still lost. :( Lots of time left.

Awful start by the Dutchmen...I think the Gophers are going to start taking over this one unless Union can settle down and play the way they did at the end of the 1st.

Yeah, the '91 Championship was crazy, crazy. BU gets out to a 3-0 lead, then Northern scores 7 of the next 8 to lead 7-4 deep in the third. Then BU comes back and scores three to tie it...almost another to win at the end of regulation, then three overtimes later Northern finally scores the winner. I could easily see this game mirror that one.

Wow...Union gets called for a penalty, and the Gophers with a great chance to tie this one up...
