If this keeps up, we would see the second most goals in a title game (CC beat Michigan 13-6 in 1957). The most in recent history is 15 in 1991 (NMU beat BU 8-7 in 3ot).
Last team to allow 4 goals and win the National Title? North Dakota in 1997 (beat BU 6-4). They scored 5 goals in the second after trailing by 2 after twenty minutes. Minnesota can still get the job done, but they need to shake off the first period.
