Union beginning to make the Gophers look silly in their defensive zone. And now 4-2, the wheels have come off. :rolleyes:

Yeah, initially I thought Wilcox got interfered with. Pretty clearly after the replay that the goal was good.

Minnesota needs something to change the momentum in this one quick...

Yep. They HAVE to get out of this period at worst 4-2. Minnesota has the firepower to score 5...especially with the way Union's goalie has played.

4-2 Union.

Union made the Gophers look like the didn't deserve to be on the ice with them that last ten minutes. Just chasing them around our zone.

Don't know what to think of this..... this could be the highest scoring title game if this keeps up. Crazy

The 1st 5 min or so was a completely different MN team. Lots of physical stuff. Maybe they were spooked by those 2 penalties. But to see Union get *2* goals by standing and whacking in close with nobody harassing them was unbelievable.

Yep. Union is a great, experienced team. Most others would have wilted when the Gophers came out strong, especially after taking a 2-1 lead.

The Gophers need to regroup...there are still 40 minutes to play, and Union's goalie looks awful. If Wilcox can right the ship, and get a little more help from the guys in front of him, Minnesota is more than capable of coming back. My guess is that Minnesota comes out flying to start the second. IF they can get the next one...watch out. If Union gets up 3, I don't see them blowing that lead.
