The refs math skills needed help in this case.

An Oswego player coming off the ice gave a check to a Bowdoin player, but another Oswego player never jumped on the ice to replace him. The ref just assumed there were too many men because of the circumstances. They didn't bother actually counting.

Bowdoin's defensemen are flat footed at the blue line, causing a lot more scoring chances for Oswego than there should have been.

Oswego's got to stay out of the box the rest of the game.

Neil Musslewhite is fast.

Getting called twice for too many men on the ice has nothing to do with refs.
Not bad for Oswego having a lead spending half the period on a penalty kill.

Who are the refs? McSweeney was at the Elmira womens game today, so I am going to guess D Murphy or Everrt.

Thanks for the clarification, Russell. The WNYO guys couldn't understand that last one either.

Rebooted computer and the WTOP feed is working now. Surprised no facebook link like last week.

When it first happened, I figured it was going to be too many men also, so I immediately counted, and there were still only five players on the ice.
